Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to information you submit through AI Governance Check.
Who is the controller?
OpenKit Ltd is the data controller. Its company number is 13030838 and its address is Cambridge Guildhall, Cambridge CB2 3QJ. You can contact OpenKit through the OpenKit site.
What do we collect?
If you request a download, the form asks for your name, work email, organisation and an optional phone number. Your tool answers are attached to that submission so the report can reflect the information you provided.
Nothing is collected if you only use a tool and view the result on screen. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, uses no personal data and sets no cookies.
Why can we use it?
OpenKit relies on legitimate interests to receive your submission and respond to a report request. If you select the separate follow-up option, OpenKit relies on your consent to contact you about a walkthrough. That option is unticked by default, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting OpenKit.
How long do we keep it?
Submission information is kept only for as long as OpenKit needs it to respond to your request and complete any follow-up you asked for. The exact retention period will be confirmed before launch.
What are your rights?
Depending on the circumstances, UK GDPR gives you the right to:
- ask for access to your personal data;
- ask for inaccurate data to be corrected;
- ask for your data to be erased;
- ask for use of your data to be restricted;
- object to how your data is used;
- receive data you provided in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Guidance and contact details are available at ico.org.uk.
